Frame

Data Sources

Frame separates journal identity, scope, indexing, fees, metrics, and trust signals so users can see what is source-backed and what still needs verification.

Source coverage and verification

Primary source types

Frame uses open catalog and publisher-side signals such as Crossref, OpenAlex, DOAJ, PubMed/NLM, TR Dizin, publisher pages, and stored source-claim records.

Verified sources

WoS, Scopus, JCR, and similar claims are treated as verified only when a reliable public, official, manual, or curated source supports the claim.

How this affects routes

A journal can be a good fit while still showing verification needs. Missing APC or metric data should not erase fit, but it should remain visible before submission.
